Reporting to the Marketing Manager in this newly created and varied role, you will manage the day to day marketing activities across multiple online and offline channels. These include email campaigns, social media, PR, SEO, PPC and website analytics, as well as producing marketing materials, print and digital, to support our sales teams and distribution partners across the globe.

What We Think About Modulift
I’m Tom and I’m the Operations Manager at Modulift, based in their head office in Poole, Dorset. I joined Modulift as a 21 year old looking to begin a career with a company that could offer me personal growth in regards to training and progression. I wanted to work with a company that had similar development aspirations to my own personal ones and I felt that Modulift were the company to offer me that opportunity and environment.
I’m challenged every day to find ways of improving processes, finding new suppliers to form relationships with and given full responsibility to do what it takes to drive continual improvement and change throughout the business which is a responsibility that really motivates me to help drive growth within the company. I enjoy working with all of my colleagues as they all have a similar mentality to mine and are constantly challenging their colleagues to be better than they were yesterday.
In my time at Modulift I have become a qualified Slinger/Signaller & Crane Supervisor to enable me to carry out the proof load testing requirements we have on our project specific orders. I am hoping to go on the Appointed Person course in the future so that I have all 3 of the recognised qualifications for planning, slinging and executing a lift plan from start to finish. I have also carried out a number of informative courses to further my technical knowledge, for example a Visual Inspection course with an NDT company to be able to look for obvious weld defects to help further the quality of our products.
I regularly visit the Modulift Test Site to carry out Proof Load Testing for Projects when required. I also visit customers where required for meeting either before or after order to ensure we are offering the most suitable product and I also visit suppliers to ensure that we are getting the best prices/service that we expect to help meet our customer’s needs.
Modulift offer me everything I look for in terms of career progression, training support, enjoyment and variety of work. The testament to this is I have been here for 8 years and I do not see myself working anywhere else in the next 8 years. Hi, I'm Malcolm, and I am the International Business Development Manager for Modulift. I am based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates where I have been for 11 years.
I have worked within the lifting industry extensively, starting within the UK before moving out to the Middle East. I really enjoyed working with Modulift products and the company. I got on very well with everyone at Modulift, and when I joined it was a great opportunity to be part of the close knit team and an international brand name with a lot of credibility in the industry. Modulift are leaders in what they do, they have unique USPs and I was excited to be a part of the company developement.
My environment differs from the rest of the team as I am 100% remote. I keep in touch with my colleagues and managers over regular Skype and phone discussions and we meet once or twice per year. Working remotely from home and travelling around the world does have its challenges, but I know I am part of a strong team with many positives to keep me moving forward. I also take care of a distributor network with whom I work closely with, and some have become close friends. The industry is always changing but Modulift is a strong brand which, in my view, will always be at the top of its industry.
My role is always evolving and developing, I am constantly learning from this and from the new experiences and people I meet along the way.
I represent Modulift at several events, exhibitions and conferences each year. Along with visiting our distributors and customers it keeps me on the move and takes me to many different countries. I am constantly speaking and meeting with new people, visiting new distributors and their branches as well as building relationships with new customers. This continued progression keeps the role interesting and challenging, there is a lot be gained from this on both a professional and personal level.
I am proud to be part of a company and team that is continuing to grow and gaining more recognition and credibility. Within my role I feel that I am maturing and continuously gaining more experience as the company, distributor network and my role continues to expand and evolve.
