I’m Kerry and I’m the Marketing Manager at Modulift, based in their head office in Poole, Dorset. I knew it was the right fit for me within the first 5 minutes of my interview with Sarah. It was clear she had a passion for the business and that there was a clear strategy for growth, which I found exciting.
I’m empowered to do my job and respected that I know what I’m doing. Everyone is friendly, it’s not a clique environment and it has a real sense of team. There is always the opportunity to visit customers and suppliers. I’ve attended many exhibitions, the most recent one was in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where Modulift were exhibiting at a global industry exhibition.

I’m Hope and I’m one of the Design Engineers at Modulift. I have been with the company for almost 5 years, and progressed steadily from a Draughtsperson up to the Design Engineer I am now. I had only recently graduated from university when I started at the company and was looking for a position which gave me the opportunity to expand my skills base and move into the engineering sector which I had enjoyed whilst at university.
My job is very varied as we work on all sorts of enquiries and jobs from standard spreader beams to custom lifting frames to heavy lift spreader beams. Every day is different and presents new challenges which I really enjoy, and is one of the reasons I have been with Modulift for how long I have.
Modulift has a great working environment where everyone is happy to help and pitch in when necessary to get the job done. The whole team are friendly and approachable, and nothing is ever too much trouble, which makes working that much more enjoyable.
I’m Tom and I’m the Operations Manager at Modulift, based in their head office in Poole, Dorset. I joined Modulift as a 21 year old looking to begin a career with a company that could offer me personal growth in regards to training and progression.
I’m challenged every day to find ways of improving processes, finding new suppliers to form relationships with and given full responsibility to do what it takes to drive continual improvement and change throughout the business which is a responsibility that really motivates me to help drive growth within the company. I enjoy working with all of my colleagues as they all have a similar mentality to mine and are constantly challenging their colleagues to be better than they were yesterday.
Modulift offer me everything I look for in terms of career progression, training support, enjoyment and variety of work. The testament to this is I have been here for 8 years and I do not see myself working anywhere else in the next 8 years.
